GAZA CHAMBER
Project type
INTERIOR DESIGN
Date
2023
Location
GAZA STRIP
Area
500 SQ M
In a 500 square meter space, the concept was derived from the name "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Gaza." The design was inspired by various local handicrafts and traditional crafts in the Gaza Strip, including pottery, embroidery, local carpets, and bamboo. The result was an architectural masterpiece rooted in local culture.
The project's objective is also to provide employment opportunities for the workforce in the Gaza Strip, creating a model or a museum and exhibition showcasing the industries of the region, highlighting their richness, quality, and ability to compete in the global markets.
The design consisted of a fusion of soft white and beige colors with accents of fiery wood veneers. It incorporated elements of Palestinian heritage such as traditional floorings, terracotta flowerpots, and delicate glass bricks. The blend of ancient and modern elements in the design creates a locally relevant yet globally appealing project.
